We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. The shape of the face -- the jaw? or is it the neck? something.
Those are some bony armpits.
The hand too. I'm half wishing the shading on the hand was rougher, because that's the way everything else is. Something about the palm look wrong too.
But anyway, this is amazing. The colors, the light, the detail and the background. The concept is great as well.

Irony: R. Lee Ermey was the drill segeant in "Full Metal Jacket". 2 decades later, he's Tommy Lee's boss in "Man of the House". In this movie, one of the cheerleaders tells Tommy that her favorite movie is "Full Metal Jacket."
Anyone else notice that?
